The Whalestone mission is to provide musicians with new tonal options and means of expression through effect pedals.

Whalestone was founded in the north of Sweden in 2007 by Håkan Wahlsten who remains the sole proprietor.

The name Whalestone is derived from translating the pronunciation of the founder's surname into english.

Whalestone is registered for corporation taxation and VAT in Sweden.
